![]() The drinks, for the amount of money spent, were not made well and not even remotely worth the cost. Disappointing hotels stays are to be expected and we’ve had our fair share of them. But NEVER have we (again, owners) had such a bad experience at a HGVC resort/hotel – and we’ve been to many. These resorts were built on treating their owners with respect and value… it’s what makes ownership appealing over just going the standard hotel booking route. And on this last visit, we were treated worse than we would expect even the casual hotel guest would be treated… the disappointments continued. We had barely spent any time in that room and thankfully no one had used the pull out bed.Īnd this is where it gets really ugly… a few days in to our stay we found a bedbug in the pull out sofa of our 1-bedroom suite. I and my son (who was staying in his own suite at the time) were out that night when my wife found it, and she reported it quickly to the front desk. Now, we are adults and we know that with a resort in such a bustling and International city this is a possibility, but again, this is HGVC… it should be of a higher standard… but again, it happened. What was done about it was even more shocking. ![]() My wife actually had to ask to be moved to another room. The initial night front desk worker’s response was one of thanks for alerting them, but no interest was taken in their guest (again, we are HGVC owners).
